The vocational high school is a training unit attached to the CFA Académique d'Orléans-Tours .
Who are we ?
The Orléans-Tours Academic CFA is an apprenticeship training center offering apprenticeship training from vocational certificates to bac+3. It relies on a network of public high schools under the National Education system.
Our network is made up of around 70 training sites called “Apprenticeship Training Units” (or UFA) throughout the Centre-Val de Loire region. Through them, we offer individualized training, personalized support with
a team of recognized professionals.
As a company, you join a network of well-established partners and you are supported throughout your apprentice's training.

Apprentice remuneration
Your apprentice's remuneration is compulsory and regulated by a scale based on a percentage of the minimum wage depending on their age and level of training .
This percentage may be increased depending on your collective agreement; contact your OPCO to find out more.
Cost of training
The training provided within the academic CFA of Orléans-Tours is without any remaining charge* for the company and the apprentice ( *for private sector companies) .
You don't have to pay anything or advance anything.
Concrete examples
Without collective agreement
A restaurant hires a 16-year-old apprentice in his second year of a vocational baccalaureate.
He will have to pay 39% of the minimum wage according to the regulatory scale, i.e. €689.10 in April 2024.
With collective agreement
A public works company is hiring an 18-year-old apprentice in her first year of a BTS (Higher National Diploma).
According to the construction industry collective agreement, she will have to pay 50% of the minimum wage, or €883.46, in April 2024.
(instead of 43% according to the regulatory scale).
Employer assistance
When you hire an apprentice, you can benefit from hiring assistance* . This assistance, which can only be used for the first year of the contract, is paid to you monthly.

If your apprentice has a disability, you may be eligible for additional assistance . Contact your local employment agency.
