INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
Le Lycée des Métiers Albert Bayet est fier d’être un établissement « accrédité Erasmus+ » depuis de nombreuses années et de proposer des PFMP (Périodes de Formation en Milieu Professionnel) à l’étranger.
This Accreditation is indeed a crucial tool for implementing "mobilities" subsidized by the European Union for student travel funded by the European Union. The Accreditation we have obtained is valid for the entire period 2021-2027 and opens the possibility of applying annually for Erasmus+ funding to promote mobility in Europe and enable "mobilities" for our students in particular.
As part of the European English section, Vocational Baccalaureate in Hospitality and Catering students currently have the opportunity to complete a 4- to 6-week internship in Norway or Switzerland. Since the Euro section opened, more than 60 students have completed an internship abroad, and several have worked or are working abroad (England, Ireland, Norway, and others).
"It's very enriching to be in a foreign country, Norway for me. It allows you to learn the language and gain maturity, knowing how to fend for yourself. We share our culture and learn about another. Every day is a discovery of new landscapes and new people."

A PFMP abroad helps develop a young person's open-mindedness by exposing them to other cultures and showing them that diversity is rich. It can also facilitate their professional integration and open up other career opportunities abroad.
Finally, students who have completed their internship in a European country (except Switzerland) will be able to present the Optional Mobility Unit for the Baccalaureate and will be awarded the EuroMobipro, a new mobility certificate attached to the diploma, as well as the Europass Mobility. This document, recognized throughout Europe, is an essential asset during a job interview, for example.
“During my internship in Salisbury, England, I was rather skeptical about working with people who don't operate like we do in France. But once I was immersed, I am more than happy to have been part of this "adventure" that I will keep many memories of. At the Grasmere House Hotel, they were helpful, courteous and very informative. I was also able to enjoy the historic city of Salisbury near Stonehenge. If you have the desire and determination to join the European section to be part of this adventure, go for it!”
